The Kehinde Wiley MFA ’01 and Amy Sherald paintings of the former president and first lady will head back to D.C.’s Portrait Gallery in November after having their yearlong tour expanded through the fall.
The National Portrait Gallery, where presidential portraits are kept in Washington, DC, announced that two more stops have been added to the popular tour — the de Young Museum in San Francisco (June 18 to Aug. 14) and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (Sept. 3 to Oct. 30).
