Marta Kuzma, Dean Yale School of Art is organizing a screening of two films by Goran Hugo Olsson, Concerning Violence: Nine Scenes from Anti-Imperialistic Self Defense (2014), and The Black Power Mixtape (2011), with talks by the filmmaker as well as guest Christopher Lebron, author of The Color of Our Shame: Race and Justice in Our Time, Oxford University Press, 2013, Assistant Professor of African American Studies and Philosophy at Yale University. This special evening is a public extension of Dean Kuzma’s Critical Practice course, Diving Into the Wreck.
