BOOKBURN will open on October 9th (the exhibition will begin showing on the 7th.) It features two Yale alumni: George Peck and Hugo Perez. As stated on the website, BOOKBURN is:
“…a multimedia art installation that situates the viewer within a mass book burning. A collaboration between artist George Peck and filmmaker Hugo Perez, the installation found its genesis in book burnings in Peck’s native Hungary, and provokes the viewer to reflect on the implications of the destruction of literature and the suppression of free thought.”
