The Lure of the Dark

Featured in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, The Lure of the Dark is an exhibition of the contemporary take on the allure of the nighttime in art. Citing the historical background and importance of the night in art in pieces through centuries, the Mass MoCA explains that this exhibition is the modern view of darkness and night. But with this darkness comes its opposite: light, and in this exhibition you will find the light which illuminates the dark, from the stars to the “glowing cell phones” of modernity.

This exhibition features works from Jeronimo Elepse MFA’01 and Kenny Rivero MFA’12 and will run through December 2018.
